Several good ideas in this book that address a large part of the unease I feel while investing/betting based on the expected value: Eg. even though the average expected outcome may be maximized by going all in into the stock market in a single go, I will only have a single shot at it. Or why spreading out the investment makes more intuitive sense to me.
